The Alma Ensemble presents "In Time of Summer Rain."

Capture the magic of the summer season with this evocative program inspired by poetry and nature. This collection of works spans the centuries with pieces from composers familiar and possibly new. Share moments of inspiration by Valerie Coleman, Germaine Tailleferre, Gabriela Lena Frank, and more.

The Alma Ensemble was founded by flutist Sarah Wardle Jones, clarinetist Michelle Smith Johnson, and pianist Erica Sipes. It is a musician collective dedicated to championing women in music, education, and creating connection through music.
