Environmental Health and Safety is hosting a Safety Day on Thursday, August 16 at the Alphin Stuart Livestock Arena (next to 460) from 8 a.m. -12 p.m. There will be safety products and equipment demonstrations along with personal fall arrest system (PFAS) drop demonstrations and much more to see concerning the latest innovations in safety equipment. There will also be awareness training classes on Electrical Safety, Lockout Tagout, Ladder Safety, and Fall Protection. EHS will award credit for those who attend the entire training class.

Training classes:
- Electrical Awareness, 8-9 a.m.
- Lockout/Tagout Awareness, 9-10 a.m.
- Ladder Safety, 10-11 a.m.
- Fall Protection Awareness 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
