NLI's Computer Showcase
(Special Event)
Join us for NLI's Faculty Computer Showcase on Reading Day. The showcase is primarily for faculty who have been selected to participate in Networked Learning Initiatives (NLI) 2014 Faculty Computer Refresh Program, but all are welcome to attend, come see the new computers from Fujitsu, Dell, Apple and Microsoft.

1:00-2:00 - Apple tool information session: Using iPad as a rich, immersive learning tool
11:30 - 1:00 - NLI Staff Meet & Greet
NLI is a centralized, cross-discipline professional development program available to all Virginia Tech faculty and graduate students. NLI (formerly known as FDI, or Faculty Development Institute) hosts 100s of sessions and special events throughout the academic year, as well as a limited enrollment program in the summer. These offerings are designed and delivered by entities across the university, such as the University Libraries, Advanced Research Computing, Technology-enhanced Learning and Online Strategies, Security, and more.
