Introduction to Alcohol Ink Painting
with Diane Relf
Make your own original Alcohol Ink abstract art tile, framed and ready to hang.
Suitable for a holiday gift for family or friends.
The class will begin with an overview of Alcohol Ink and the different techniques that can be used in painting with AI. Samples of many different AI painting styles will be shown. AI painting on tiles will be demonstrated. Each person will then complete their own tile painting. The tiles will be mounted onto their frame, ready to take home and hang. Those who would like the added security of a protective spray can bring their art to Diane Relf's studio in Ellett Valley after it has dried and cured a week for treatment. $35 general public/$30 Friends of the Garden members; includes all materials and supplies for a completed piece of art in a two hour class. Class is limited to 12 participants, must pre-register.
