5:30pm 		  Appalachian Foodways: Sum of Many Parts  
(Special Event)

Please join us for an evening with Ronni Lundy, author of Victuals: An Appalachian Journey, with Recipes, the James Beard Foundation 2017 Book of the Year. Lundy's work centers on Appalachian foodways as a starting point for discussions about persistence, innovation, and diversity in the southern mountains.

"Appalachian Foodways: Sum of Many Parts" will begin at 5:30pm in 3100 Torgersen Hall on the Virginia Tech campus. The conversation will be preceded by a small bites reception at 5:00pm; both are free and open to the public.
