Law Panel at Virginia Tech
(Academic)
Representatives from the following law schools are scheduled to be on this year's law panel at Virginia Tech: the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, Washington and Lee University School of Law, and the West Virginia University College of Law. The panelists will comment on topics of interest to pre-law students such as how to decide whether to pursue a legal career, how to prepare for law school, the application and admissions processes, issues of timing and financial aid, what life is like as a law student, and career choices available to those with law degrees. The panelists will also hold a question and answer session with the audience.
The spring 2018 law panel is open to all members of the University community and is likely to be of particular interest to those considering the possibility of a legal career. It will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in the New Classroom Building, room 260, on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus. This event is being organized and sponsored by Virginia Tech's pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta and the University pre-law advisors.
