(VTC)

Kiarri Kershaw, assistant professor of preventive medicine at Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, will focus on understanding the contributions of the social environment to cardiovascular health and health disparities. As a social epidemiologist, she explores the health impacts of providing individuals with opportunities to move to neighborhoods with more health-promoting resources and improving access to resources in segregated neighborhoods.
