Summer Floral Arranging Workshop
(Special Event)
Join us for an evening of walking in the garden and flower arranging at the Hahn Horticulture Garden on Thursday July 20 from 6 - 8 PM!
Stroll through the Hahn Horticulture Garden with Education and Outreach Coordinator, Stephanie Huckestein, to look at plants that you can grow in your own garden to use in summer floral arrangements. We'll then learn how to create a compote style flower arrangement with Jody Strom, owner of The Moss & Rose, using greenery from the Hahn Garden and locally grown flowers from Stonecrop Farm. All floral arranging supplies will be provided along with a light snack and beverage.
$40.00 general public/$35.00 for Friends of the Garden. Please register by July 17; Limited to 24 participants. To register email Stephanie at vtgarden@vt.edu.
