  Data Science for the Public Good Symposium 2017  
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)

The Data Science for the Public Good (DSPG) program focuses at the interface of data analytics and social science to address real problems at the local, state, and federal levels of government.

At this symposium, students and fellows in the summer 2017 DSPG program will be presenting their research projects. The event will highlight how the DSPG program equips new generations of scientists with the skills they need to develop data-driven policy and decision-making.

Keynote speakers are Nancy Potok, chief statistician of the United States, Office of Management and Budget; and David Yokum, director, The Lab @ DC, Executive Office of the Mayor.
