Zaynab Alabed, a scholar and teacher from Aleppo, Syria, will lead a discussion on the state of women in that country. Her talk will cover the status of women historically, currently during the ongoing conflict in that country and in the future.
This presentation is hosted by Women and Gender in International Development of the Office of International Research, Education, and Development (OIRED) at Virginia Tech.
