Fulbright Reception and Open House

In commemoration of Senator J. William Fulbright's birthday, the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Office of the Vice President for Outreach and International Affairs are hosting a Fulbright reception/open house/meet and greet on April 12. This event is for all returned and current Fulbright scholars and students, as well as anyone interested in learning more about Fulbright opportunities.
Sponsored by the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright program provides funding for students, scholars, and professionals to undertake graduate study, advanced research, and teaching opportunities. Grants are available for US and foreign students and scholars.
this event will take place at the University Club (100 Otey Street) from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. The event is open to everyone but registration is required. Please contact Betty Watts (bettyw@vt.edu; 231-7220) for more information or to RSVP by Friday, April 8.
