The Art of Teaching:Using Acting Techniques in the Teaching/Learning Process
(Seminar/Conference)

Greg's approach to improving teaching focuses on the practical of teaching - using the body and voice more effectively when communicating with students. Research statistics on communication effectiveness break down as follows:

50% of effective communication comes from the physical
40% of effective communication comes from the vocal
10% of effective communication comes from the words

Participants will learn to not be nervous in front of crowds, how to use the teaching space more effectively, how to utilize nonverbal communication, movement, and body language to keep listeners engaged, how to use the voice more effectively (including volume, diction, vocal phrasing, and using vocal energy in ways to make the listener remember the words), and more.

Greg's workshops are highly participatory. They are never intimidating, nor is anyone ever put on the spot. Participants learn techniques by doing them. They have fun, they laugh, and they become better at teaching.
