Symposium on Religion and Law

Virginia Tech is partnering with St. Andrew's Centre for the Study of Religion and Politics to present a Symposium on Religion and Law.
St. Andrew's Centre, located in Edmonton, Canada, has worked directly with the Dalai Llama, the Vatican, and the government of Somaliland.
The purpose of the symposium is to shed light on key issues such as the appeal of ISIS, the status of secularism in Europe, the policies of African nations, and reactions to the migrations of peoples into the United States.
This event is sponsored by the Department of Religion and Culture, the School of Public and International Affairs, and two College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences grants: Global Sustainability Grant and International Initiatives Small Grant.
