Ridenour Faculty Fellowship: Racial Equity Conference
(Greater Washington DC Metro Area)
Linking the Silos of Racial Equity Work -- a Ridenour Faculty Fellowship event -- will help business leaders gain an understanding of the state of affairs in racial equity work from leaders in education, health, and housing and why dismantling silos will create a more equitable society.
Keynote speaker is Susan Gooden, author of the book Race and Social Equity: A Nervous Act of Government.
In concurrent sessions, consultants will walk through the process of conducting a racial equity analysis within an attendee's organization. Business leaders will also learn how to manage challenges involved with "undoing" inequitable patterns and traditions within their organizations.
