Visiting Writers Series Presents Leslie Jamison & Ben George

Leslie Jamison's first novel, "The Gin Closet," was published by Free Press in 2010. Her second book, "The Empathy Exams," an essay collection published by Graywolf Press, debuted in April 2014 and reached No. 11 on the New York Times bestseller list. She is a columnist for the New York Times Book Review.
Ben George is a Senior Editor at Little, Brown and Company, where edits a number of well known writers. He previously co-founded Lookout Books, where he published Edith Pearlman's Binocular Vision, winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award and finalist for the National Book Award.
