Visible Scholarship Initiative

At this event the scholarship of the following faculty members in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences will be recognized: Joyce Arditti, Human Development, editor, "Family Problems"; Virginia Fowler, English, "Nikki Giovanni"; Benjamin Jantzen, Philosophy, "An Introduction to Design Arguments"; Katrina Powell, English and Women's and Gender Studies, "Identity and Power in Narratives of Displacement"; and Peter Wallenstein, History, "Race, Sex, and the Freedom to Marry." The event also will include a display of posters about these five books designed by students in Professor Jennifer Mooney's course and talks by each of the authors. Refreshments will be served.
