ART 1004, Painting for Non-Majors, is an introductory course that allows students to gain familiarity with a range of formal and conceptual facets of painting. Emphasis is placed on creative process, problem solving, and an introduction to the relationships between content and form. The pieces in this exhibit showcase the two focuses of the class as a general education course: critique and practice in design and the arts, and intercultural and global awareness.
