RLCL Info Session (FREE PIZZA)
(Club)
The Department of Religion & Culture brings together an interdisciplinary program that trains students to think critically about human relationships and to communicate clearly. In all our courses, and throughout our major, we're interested in how people FUNCTION in society. How does religion influence the way people live in different cultures? How does place matter? Why does pop culture change what people think? And, because we're eclectic in our interests, we emphasize mentoring. All our majors work individually with a faculty member to customize their course of study. As such, students who major in Religion & Culture are prepared to pursue a wide range of careers, which include medicine, law, public policy, non-profits service (Peace Corps, Teach for America, etc.), among many others, and of course graduate study in anthropology, religion, literature, or history.
And we have FREE PIZZA.
Come meet some upperclassmen and some faculty. See what courses we're offering in Winter 2016, Spring 2016, and beyond. Ask us about the major and why it has the momentum of a runaway train.
COME ONE, COME ALL. ALL ARE WELCOME.
