"Boeing and Big Data: The Digital Aerospace Ecosystem"
The Center for Business Intelligence and Analytics in the Pamplin College of Business is pleased to present a series of lectures for Virginia Tech students and faculty. Mr. Dewey Houck, VT alumnus, Vice President and Chief Data Analytics Officer will join us on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. You won't want to miss out on this valuable information as he presents the information: "Boeing and Big Data-The Digital Aerospace Ecosystem".
Dewey Houck is Vice President and Chief Data Analytics Officer within the Phantom Works division for Boeing Defense, Space & Security. In this newly created position, he is responsible for leading a team focused on gathering and leveraging data as a business asset, enabling Boeing defense platforms and services to gain a distinct information advantage in the global marketplace.
Mr. Houck holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in civil engineering, with specialization in photogrammic and geodesy, from Virginia Tech. He currently serves on the board of directors for the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, and on the board of advisors for the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, and the Virginia Tech Hume Center. He is also a member of California Polytechnic State University's Cyber Council. More information...
