Interested in increasing your students' engagement in class and fostering deeper learning? Flipping may be your answer. Flipping represents one approach to designing a course that fosters student engagement and active learning. This workshop/work session will provide both a basic understanding of the "flipping" approach to designing an effective course, as well as time to work on the actual design of the course (or aspects of the course, as needed).

Flipping the Classroom: The Basics (9 am - 12 pm)

** Flipping the Classroom: A Working Session (1 pm - 4 pm) - This companion session, Flipping the Classroom: A Working Session (1-4 pm), must be signed up for separately.

Special Note: Lunch is included for those attending both the morning and afternoon sessions.
