Museum Public Lecture: The Dan River Coal Ash Spill: Science During a Rapid Response

Lecture in 4069 Derring. After the lecture, we will go to the Museum for a hands-on meet the scientists session, and will also break out into small groups to go see coal ash on the SEM (scanning electron microscope). This is an unusual opportunity for members of the public to see analytic equipment in action.
