Dr. Tehyun Ma, Lecturer in History from the University of Exeter (UK) will speak to faculty and students about her work on the processes of returning Taiwan to Chinese control in the period after WWII. Most recently she has been conducting research on the development of Taiwan's economy and social welfare in the period after the end of Japanese colonialism. This lecture is part of the Crossing Borders, Transgressing Boundaries speaker series in the Department of History.
