YMCA Healthy Kids Day
(Special Event)
The YMCA at Virginia Tech invites you to celebrate Healthy Kids Day 2015, a free community event designed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer.
The day will feature games, inflatables, healthy snacks, crafts, and more. There will be activities hosted by different VT groups as well as booths sponsored by various local organizations; many of these businesses will be promoting their child-friendly summer programs.
This is the YMCA's own day of play designed to get kids excited for the summertime and the opportunities that await them. VT's HKD was created to facilitate community togetherness and encourage families to adopt healthy habits. This event is targeted towards kids and parents of the surrounding communities, parents in the graduate school, and VT staff members.
