Representatives from the following law schools are scheduled to be on a law panel at Virginia Tech on Tuesday, March 24, 2015: George Mason University School of Law, Wake Forest University School of Law, and William & Mary Law School. The panelists will comment on topics of interest to pre-law students such as:
- how to decide whether to pursue a legal career.
- how to prepare for law school.
- issues of timing such as when to go to law school.
- the application and admissions processes.
- issues of cost and financial aid.
- what life is like as a law student.
- employment prospects.
- opportunities available to those with law degrees.
The panelists will also answer questions from the audience.
The law panel is open to all members of the University community and is likely to be of particular interest to those considering the possibility of a legal career. The panel will be held on Tuesday, March 24, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in 2150 Torgersen Hall, on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus.
