Virginia Cyber Security Commission Town Hall

This event is the first in a series of meetings to introduce the public to the mission of the commission established by Gov. Terry McAuliffe in 2014. The commission brings together experts from the public and private sectors to develop recommendations that will help position Virginia as a leader in cybersecurity.
The session touches on topics such as recent hacks, best practices, federal and state programs, cyber education, and cybercrime. Speakers are J.C. Dodson, BAE Systems, global chief information security officer and member of the commission; David Crisafi, special agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation; and Randy Marchany, information technology security officer, Virginia Tech. The speakers' addresses will be followed by an open discussion.
