Angelo Filomeno, Artist Talk and Illustrated Slide Lecture

Angelo Filomeno will speak about his work and the evolution of his career from starting as a tailor at the age of seven, then attending art school in Milan, followed by working in Fashion Houses in both Milan and New York. Filomeno worked as Corelli Costumes, the great costume design shop in NYC, before pursuing his own art work and making it big in the NYC contemporary art world.
Filomeno's work in the Threaded exhibition is on view at the Center for the Arts and runs Feb 12-April 12.
The talk is presented by the Center for the Arts in collaboration with the School of Performing Arts.
