Join guest speaker Lisa Jo Epstein, Founding Artistic Director of Gas & Electric Arts, for an exploration of theatre as a forum social change.
Based in Philadelphia, Gas & Electric Arts uses participatory theatre and performance to promote dialogue about social inequality and activates those we touch to work for positive change in our communities.
This event is co-presented by Women and Minority Artists and Scholars Lecture Series, the Women's Center at Virginia Tech, Women's Month, the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech, Community Voices, and the Virginia Tech Institute for Policy and Governance.
