The Graduate Life Center will celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day by opening its doors for dialogue about the needs of graduate students.
From 10 a.m.-1p.m. coffee and tea will be available in the GLC lobby for informal discussion facilitated by Graduate School Inclusion Coordinator Dannette Beane.
At 11 a.m. student leaders will facilitate discussions until 12:30 p.m. about what underrepresented students need and action plans to increase diversity and inclusion efforts for graduate students. Rooms and topics TBA. Lunch will be available from 12:30-1 p.m. in the GLC multipurpose room.

At 1 p.m., Vice President and Dean for Graduate Education Karen DePauw will facilitate a discussion with participants about the needs discussed during the morning sessions and will share the Graduate School's three new inclusion and diversity initiatives.
