Presentation by Jennifer Serventi from National Endowment for the Humanities

Jennifer Serventi, senior program officer, Office of Digital Humanities (ODH), National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), will present "Getting Started with NEH Funding for the Digital Humanities: An Introduction to Grant Programs, Initiatives, and Resources of the National Endowment for the Humanities."
In her current position, Serventi is responsible for coordinating the Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities program and also works extensively with the Digital Humanities Start-Up and Implementation Grants programs and the Digging into Data Challenge. Prior to joining ODH in 2007, she served in the NEH's Division of Research Programs and the Division of Education Programs. Her experience also includes time as a staff member at the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Serventi will give her presentation in Arlington, in conjunction with Institute for Society, Culture, and Environment (ISCE)/College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences (CLAHS) faculty in Blacksburg via VTC.
