Guest Lecture: Rethinking Nonprofit Advocacy

Steven Rathgeb Smith, executive director of the American Political Science Association, will present "Rethinking Nonprofit Advocacy." He will highlight themes from his forthcoming book, Nonprofits and Advocacy: Engaging Community and Government in an Era of Retrenchment .
Adam Eckerd, assistant professor at the Virginia Tech Center for Public Administration and Policy (CPAP), will give a response following the lecture.
A reception at 6 p.m. will precede the 6:30 p.m. presentation.
