Vein health presentation and screenings

While often mistaken as only a cosmetic condition, varicose veins are usually caused by a deeper problem, chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). Although about half of people go undiagnosed, more than 30 million Americans suffer from symptomatic CVI and could be treated by non-invasive, insurance-covered procedures. Come learn more about the signs and symptoms of vein disease and the treatments available. Afterward, Dr. Frank Purpera will offer free, private, one-on-one vein screenings to answer any questions or concerns anyone may have about vein health. Please bring or wear shorts if you would like to participate in the private vein screening.
