A Hedonic Analysis of Water Quality and the Chesapeake Bay TMDL

The final installment of AAEC's Spring 2014 Seminar Series features economist Patrick Walsh, Ph.D., from the EPA's National Center for Environmental Economics. The Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load program is the largest such cleanup plan ever developed by the Environmental Protection Agency, and is designed to ensure that all pollution control measures needed to fully restore the Bay and its tidal rivers to health are in place by 2025. Walsh applies to this subject such research interests as coastal resource valuation, benefit transfer, and land cleanup and reuse. More information...
