Virginia Tech authors and editors of books published in 2012 will be recognized at a reception honoring their academic contributions to the university. The occasion will be marked by an introduction of the authors, remarks by the sponsors, a display of representative books, and a presentation by Mark Barrow, College of Liberal Arts and Human Science, who will discuss the book for which he was awarded Phi Beta Kappa's 2012 Albert L. Sturm Award for Excellence in Faculty Research.
