Flutist Alexis Del Palazzo, presents a lecture demonstration and masterclass on Holistic Pratice. Holistic Practice (Practicing for the Whole Musician): Holistic Practice is a focused, self-aware method of practice that incorporates Body Mapping, Alexander Technique, yoga and performance psychology in a way that maximizes practice time but minimizes stress. This lecture will explore materials, books, and practice strategies that keep the creative juices flowing while practicing the flute. This event is free and open to the public.
