Home Sweet Home Brunch

As part of the Division of Student Affairs' Family Weekend events, the Sunday brunch at D2 in Dietrick Hall will feature winning recipes from this year's Home Sweet Home family recipe contest. For the past 10 years, families have submitted their student's favorite dishes. The winners are selected by Virginia Tech Dining Services' chefs to be served at the Home Sweet Home special meal each year. This is the first year the event has been a brunch. Winning recipes are Stuffed French Toast from Denise Bogaty-Smith of Glehshaw, Pa., Blueberry Biscuits from Anita Watson of Cape Carteret, N.C., Easy Spinach Lasagna (vegetarian) from Denise Lewis of Yorktown, Va., Grandma Ruck's Famous Molasses Crinkle from Janet Graham of Bethel Park, Pa., Root Beer Roast from Deanna Teter of Luray, Va., Baked Pineapple Casserole from Nancy Brandmueller of Kennett Square, Pa., Fettuccine with Smoked Turkey from Shari True of Reston, Va., and Italian Meatball Soup from Anna Toth of Reston, Va.
