(Seminar/Conference)
Art of Interviews: Using Acting Techniques in Interviewing for Jobs, Graduate School, and Scholarships
Presented by Gregory Justice, Associate Professor of Theatre Arts
Many of the techniques actors use in their auditions/interviews are applicable to those seeking jobs, entrance to college or in being chosen for scholarships. The Art of Interviews workshops examine these techniques. Interviewing from a performance and theatre perspective puts a new light and gives new approaches to this necessity in life. Greg focuses on the Seven-Point Plan of Interviews. He breaks down the actual interview into seven components and examines, in great detail, all that goes on before and after the Q & A part of the interview.
