Adobe Acrobat X (Part One): Creating PDF Files for Instruction
(Academic)
The Portable Document Format (PDF) is a universal standard for capturing and reviewing information from any application on any operating system in the world (Adobe). PDF files are web-ready and are capable of presenting information in ways that are impossible with traditional HTML. Beyond initial PDF file creation, this short course will also focus on how the functionality of PDF files can be extended by using the Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Topics will include manipulating PDF document property and file size, adding navigation of bookmarks, weblinks and internal links, securing PDF files with passwords, and inserting sound and video. This course is open to all faculty, staff and graduate students. Visit https://app.fdi.vt.edu/public/?term_pk1=15444 to register for this course. More information...
