Presentation by MIKE EBRAHIMI, Construction Vice President at Harkins Builders, Inc.
A professional engineer with a masters degree in structural engineering, Mike attended George
Washington University in 1978, and received a masters in engineering administration, majoring in
construction management in 1980. He has worked on numerous construction projects, including
residential, commercial, and heavy industrial buildings.
Mike joined Harkins in September of 1995 as quality control manager for the construction of a 40 million military housing project in Norfolk, Virginia. In February of 1996 he was promoted to operations manager for the Norfolk division, and was highly commended by the U.S. Navy for his management skills and professionalism. Mikes technical strength, creativity, and ability to coordinate design and construction efforts in a fast track environment played an important role in procurement of the BEQ design-build project at Oceana Naval Air Station, where he continued as project manager. Mike was promoted to division manager in June, 2004, and vice president in January of 2006.
