April 11-13, 2008 Philosophy Conference
'Meaning and Modern Empiricism' will consider the philosophy of language, including signification, reference, and representation, in the modern period. A number of first-rate historians of philosophy will be attending. Kenneth Winkler (Wellesley College) is our keynote speaker; other participants include Daniel Flage (James Madison University), Michael Jacovides (Purdue), and Ted Morris (Illinois Wesleyan).
