Belly Dance with Altitude Workshop
(Special Event)
Jennifer Stempien of Amar Goddess Bellydance in Colorado, the headliner of Dance Potpourri will be teaching a two-hour belly dance workshop sharing the combinations, layering, and techniques to polish your dancing that Jennifer has learned from various instructors in Colorado at mile high altitude and finishing learning a four minute choreography that covers aspects of veil, drum and modern Egyptian styles. Workshop has something for everyone, regardless of level. Veil is not necessary for the choreography. The price is $20 for both students and community members. This event is part of International Week 2008 sponsored by Hill and Veil and the Council of International Student Organizations.
