(Movie/Film)

"Mapping Stem Cell Research: Terra Incognita" will be screened at the Lyric Theatre Monday, April 14, at 3 p.m. The film, which premiered on the PBS series Independent Lens in January 2008, follows the constantly evolving interplay between the promise of new discoveries, the controversy of modern science and the resilience and courage of people living every day with devastating disease and injury.

The filmmakers and Virginia Tech faculty will participate in a panel discussion following the film.
