The Mayor and Town Council, Leesburg Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, and the Leesburg Tree Commission cordially invite you to attend the dedication ceremony for the Virginia Tech Memorial Tree Grove at Ida Lee Park, located at the southeast corner of the park along N. King Street (Rt. 15N) and the Union Cemetery entrance.

In response to a request from Town of Leesburg citizens, this landscaped grove of ornamental and shade trees memorializes those who tragically lost their lives on the Blacksburg campus on April 16, 2007 and is being funded through contributions from local area residents and businesses.

The tree species selected for the site includes Japanese Maple, Crimson King Maple, and Village Green Zelkova.

The dedication will go ahead as planned, rain or shine.
