(Special Event)


Virginia Tech's faculty authors will be honored in Newman Library on Thursday, Feb. 28 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Honorees include authors and editors of books with publication dates of 2006 or 2007.


This is the third annual event to pay tribute to the contributions of faculty to the university and academic scholarship. The event will begin with a brief introduction of the authors and all books will be displayed. A reception will follow.


The University Libraries, in partnership with the Provost's Office and the Office of the Vice President for Research are co-sponsoring the event. All Virginia Tech faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
